I still haven’t resolved the BlogTogether logo contest, but I did find a new template to use for the site. A new logo will be swapped in later. A couple of style and formatting changes yet to make, but check back soon for the new site. UPDATE: Switched back to the old template until I straighten out some kinks in the new style.

After a spate of dwindling attendance at the Raleigh Bloggers Meetup, this meetup at the Raleigh Times Bar had a great turnout. Sam Ruby was there, as was fellow IBM programmer Pat Mueller, Michael Kimsal, Jackson Fox , Wayne Sutton, Dave Johnson, Didier and Anton Zuiker. The group decided to broaden the scope of the meetup, so future gatherings will be open to programmers and “code monkeys” in addition to bloggers and web designers. See the new Raleigh Web Tech community.

Attila (read the entire transcript of our chat) alerted me to a new book review in Nature of ‘The Open Science 2006’ science blogging anthology. MC and Reed have already blogged about the review. Let me know what you think. And keep the submissions for the 2007 edition flowing in.
