Tomorrow, I’ll participate on a panel discussion, with other media leaders, about regionalism and the Triangle (an activity of Leadership Triangle). Among other items, I’ll be sure to mention our efforts to get us bloggers meeting each other (the Triangle Bloggers Conference, the meetups in Raleigh and Chapel Hill, last fall’s bash), as well as Orange Politics, the News & Observer blogs, and all our individual blogs. To me, regionalism has always been about connecting people to the many activities around a place, and through those activities connecting the people. Our blogs, I’d argue, can facilitate that. In fact, that would make a good Triangle blogging meme: what five activities, events, businesses, restaurants or places in the Triangle make this place unique?
