Chapel Hill Bloggers Meetup 2/23/2006

Join us for a chat about blogging and more this Thursday at 6 p.m. at 3CUPS coffeebar in the West End Courtyard off West Franklin Street. I’ll take a straw poll about an idea to hold a future meetup at the wifi-enabled Mardi Gras Bowling Center. Note that we’re meeting at the earlier time — SIX P.M.

Chapel Hill Bloggers Meetup 2/9/2006 notes

Our new start time, 6 p.m., seemed to work well. Corey Reece, Rob Gluck, Roy Kim, Rob Zelt, Jackson Fox, Steve Corey and Anton Zuiker were there to talk about online calendar and newsreader software and services, finding old friends and what people will find out about you by googling your name. Roy posted his notes.

Chapel Hill Bloggers Meetup 2/9/2006, new time

Please join me Thursday at 6 p.m. for the Chapel Hill Bloggers Meetup at 3CUPS coffeebar in the West End Courtyard. We’re meeting at an earlier time this week to see if we can get a few more people to join us. I’ll ask if there’s any interest in inviting John Edwards, or other civic leaders, to a Meet the Bloggers meetup, a chance for us to meet someone we may have blogged about in the past or could blog about in the future.

Backtracking your comments

WillR, whenever he shows up for the Chapel Hill Bloggers Meetup, likes to talk about his need for a way to track his prolific blog commenting. Looks like someone’s creating a system for doing just that. See this article about CoCommenter.
